Hossein Beheshtifard

My name is Hosein Beheshtifard, and I am currently a master's student in computer science at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Farhad Maleki. My research is focused on applying ML and Deep Learning to medical images with the goal of 1) developing novel models to diagnose disease and 2) developing an interactive framework for synthesizing computationally annotated volumetric images for DL model building to mitigate the lack of large-scale annotated datasets.
